Findlay, OH : Two people were injured in a two-vehicle acciden on Saturday, September 30th 2017

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Ohio 15 and Jackson Township 180, southeast of Findlay, at 5:52 p.m. Saturday, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Erica Cole, 21, of Findlay, was driving south on Jackson Township 180 in a 2000 GMC Jimmy when she crossed the eastbound lane of Ohio 15 and was struck on the right side by a 1999 Ford F-350 driven by Timothy Lester, 53, of Marion, who was eastbound on Ohio 15, the sheriff’s office said.

Both vehicles traveled off the roadway, with Cole’s vehicle coming to rest on its side, the sheriff’s office said.

Cole and a 2-year-old passenger were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with possible injuries by Hanco EMS, the sheriff’s office said. No injuries were reported in Lester’s vehicle.

Both vehicles were heavily damaged and were towed, the sheriff’s office said.

Cole was cited for failure to stop, the sheriff’s office said.

Assisting at the accident scene were Arlington Fire Department, Mac and Bob’s Towing, and Ron’s Towing of Marion.
