A pedestrian has died after being struck by a hit and run driver in eastern South Carolina.
Charleston County Sheriff’s Capt. Roger Antonio said in a news release the person hit near Hollywood around 10:30 p.m. Saturday died at a hospital Sunday.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
A witness told deputies the vehicle involved appeared to be a black Chrysler. No arrests have been made.
