There was a deadly motorcycle crash Wednesday night in Weathersfield.

Police say they tried to pull the operator over for speeding before the crash.

Nathaniel Watkins, 29, was killed when he was lost control on a sharp turn on Weathersfield Center Road. He went off the road and into a field. Police say Watkins was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
