McCARR, KY : Kentucky State Police investigates fatal crash on Ky. Rt. 1056 in the McCarr community on Monday, 24th September 2018

Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post 09 are investigating a single-vehicle fatal collision that occurred Monday on Ky. Rt. 1056 in the McCarr community.

At 3:15 p.m. Monday, Kentucky State Police Post 09 received a call of the single-vehicle accident. Troopers determined Bernadette Adkins was traveling westbound and lost control of her vehicle, which struck an embankment and overturned into the roadway.

Adkins was transported to the Williamson Memorial Hospital, where she died from her injuries.

This investigation is led by KSP Trooper Cody Stiltner.
