LAWNDALE, IL : No injuries, one arrested in Scott's Law incident after Interstate 55 crash on Monday, 6th January, 2020

Illinois State Police say there were no injuries from a crash on Interstate 55 near Lawndale, but one driver was ticketed for a Scott's Law violation on Monday.

Police did not release the driver's name, but the crash closed both lanes of traffic for about an hour Monday afternoon at mile marker 132, about 6 miles north of the Lincoln exit.

Police say to use caution when approaching stationary emergency vehicles or any other stationary vehicle displaying flashing lights on the interstates and roads.
