Pasadena, TX : Drunk driver caused damage after crashing at apartments early Wednesday morning June 11 2014.

A woman in Pasadena, Texas, is accused of causing a big mess early Wednesday morning after police say she drove home drunk.

She lives at the Cinnamon Ridge Apartments in the 6500 block of Spencer Highway.

According to Pasadena police, the 24-year-old woman allegedly plowed through the front gate before zigzagging into seven vehicles in the lot just after 3 a.m.

Resident Cheryl Williams believes she was going so fast, it sent her Honda airborne.

“My car was obviously picked up from the impact because of the damage on my neighbor’s car,” she said. “It came down on her.”

“It’s ruined my truck,” resident Billy Gardner said. “It’s, you know, possibly cost me my job because I’m not going to be able to get back and forth.”

And it did not stop there.

Police said the woman then rammed into the corner of a building near the entrance to the complex, which might have saved someone’s life.

Because without her vehicle able to go any further, police say the woman finally got out and ran back to her place where she was soon arrested.

“And they’re making her do her sobriety test,” resident Cameron Carter said. “And at first she had to walk the line and she failed that and next thing I know she was in handcuffs in the back of the car.”
