Nampa, ID : Nampa man dies in crash near Ustick and Midland on Tuesday, December 13th 2016

A passing motorist discovered a fatal single-vehicle car crash Tuesday morning near the intersection of Ustick Road and Midland Boulevard in Nampa.

Authorities say the only occupant of the vehicle was a 19-year-old man from Nampa. The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office says the man was dead when deputies arrived.

The name of the victim has not been released because police are still notifying family members.

Police believe the crash occurred around 3 a.m. Tuesday . It was not discovered until daylight, about 8:30 a.m., because of the vehicle’s location off the roadway, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office investigation is ongoing.
