Five people were injured in a multiple vehicle accident on Island Pond Road in Derry on Friday.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash that happened around 2:40 p.m., officials said.
Two of the five victims were trapped in a sedan and had to be extracted. Rescue crews worked to free the victims for nearly 15 minutes.
Four patients were transported to Parkland Medical Center in Derry, and at least one person had potentially serious injuries, officials said.
The crash is under investigation
