Enid, OK : Albert Wesley Brown, 54, died in fatal accident in Grady County on Monday morning, August 22, 2016

An Enid man was involved in a fatal accident Monday morning in Grady County.

Albert Wesley Brown, 54, of Chickasha, was killed in the accident, which happened at 6:06 a.m. Monday on U.S. 81 less than a mile south of Minco, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to an OHP report, Jorge Barba Gonzalez, 31, of Enid, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup south on U.S. 81 when he crossed the centerline and hit the 1985 Honda motorcycle Brown was driving. Gonzalez's pickup went off the road to the left and hit a concrete culvert. Brown was thrown from his motorcycle, according to the report. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene with trunk and leg injuries.

Gonzalez refused medical treatment at the scene.

The condition of both drivers is under investigation, according to the report. Gonzalez was wearing a seat belt, and Brown was wearing a helmet.
