Marshall, MO : Marshall woman injured in crash on Friday, January, 12th 2018

A Marshall resident, Janice Scott, 67, was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Friday morning, Jan. 12, in Cass County.

According to an online Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the incident happened around 10:55 a.m. Friday, while Scott was at a stop sign in a 2016 Nissan Versa headed east on 215th Street at the intersection of Missouri State Highway 291. The report states Scott failed to yield to a southbound vehicle, a 2016 Dodge Ram 3500, driven by Perry Heckadon, 44, of Butler, and struck the pickup truck.

Scott sustained minor injuries and was transported to St. Luke's East for treatment. Heckadon was reportedly uninjured in the incident. Both were wearing safety devices, according to the report.
