Davison Township, MI : 70-year-old man dead in pickup truck crash Davison Township on Monday January 11 2016.

A 70-year-old Davison Township man is dead after a golf cart he was driving collided with a pickup truck.
Police said Daniel A. Zudel was driving a golf cart around 1:12 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of South Henderson Road, near Bristol Road, when he was struck by the pickup truck, driven by a 22-year-old Davison man.
Zudell died at an area hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, police said.
Zudel's wife, Char Zudel, said her husband of more than 50 years loved God above all else.
Dan loved and served his God, who has now called him home, saying, 'Well done, good and faithful servant,'" she said. "That's what we will cling to -- the promise of our lord."
The crash remains under investigation by the Davison Area Reconstruction Team. Police do not believe speed, alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact Lt. Harris at the Davison Township Police Department by calling 810-653-5656.
Visitation for Zudel is from 12 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 11 and 12, at Allen Funeral Home, 9126 Davison Road in Davison Township.
According to his obituary, Zudel grew up in Otisville and married Char, who was his high school sweetheart, in 1964. They had three children and several grandchildren.
The family enjoyed camping, and Zudel liked snowmobiling and woodworking, the obituary says. In later years, the couple enjoyed sightseeing, shopping, and attending live theater and car cruises with their 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS.
Throughout his career in computers and technology, Zudel worked with computers for IBM, General Motors Buick Motor Divison and EDS. In 2002, he began work for Allen Funeral Home as an office manager, and around that time he completed the Michigan District Deacon Training Program.
