Chattanooga, TN : Man dies in Marion County motorcycle crash on Monday, 29th August, 2016

An Aragon, Ga. man died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate-24 Sunday in Marion County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Melton Sisson, 63, was riding his 2007 Yamaha in the left lane when he went onto the shoulder and struck a cable barrier. He died, and his passenger, 53-year-old Rachel Sisson, was injured.

The wreck happened just after noon. Both Melton and Rachel Sisson were wearing helmets, according to the THP's preliminary report.
