The pickup truck resembled a sedan -- it was mangled, its axle was touching the ground and it had extensive front-end damage.
A few feet away, a dump truck had flipped onto its side, losing the sand it was carrying.
Broken vehicle parts littered the busy road Tuesday morning, evidence of a serious collision that had taken place at Plymouth (Route 106) and Washington streets at 11:09 a.m.
