Clanton man dies in single-vehicle crash near Alabama

A Clanton man died in a single-vehicle crash Monday night, according to Alabama State Troopers.

David Lee Ohlman II, 26, died when the 1993 Ford Ranger he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree about 9 p.m. Monday along Chilton County Road 61.The accident occurred about four miles north of Clanton, according to reports.

Troopers say Ohlman was not wearing a seat belt.The accident remains under investigation.
