Mad River Township, OH : Man in serious condition after Clark Co. motorcycle crash on Thursday, August 18, 2016

A Yellow Springs man is in serious condition at Miami Valley Hospital after a motorcycle crash in Mad River Township.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Justin S. Riley crashed on South Tecumseh Road just after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Investigators say Riley was going north when he drove off the right side of the road and hit a utility pole and mailbox.

Riley was thrown from his silver Honda motorcycle. He was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital.

OSP says Riley was wearing a helmet and protective clothing.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department and Hustead Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
