Circleville, OH : Two injured in head-on collision on Thursday, 25th August, 2016

Two females were injured in a head-on collision that happened around 7:20 a.m. Thursday on state Route 56 East at Old Tarlton Pike. Deputy Hunter Lane, Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, said Porsha McCain, 22, of Circleville was eastbound on state Route 56 East when she drove left of center. McCain’s 2013 Ford Focus collided head-on with a westbound 2014 Jeep Patriot driven by Crystal Scurlock, 36, of Laurelville. McCain was airlifted by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center, Columbus. Scurlock was transported to Berger Hospital. Route 56 East between Kingston Pike and Tarlton Road was closed for over three hours during investigation of the accident. Fire departments from Circleville, Clearcreek Township, and Pickaway Township were at the scene. Circleville Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office with road detail along with Ohio Department of Transportation.
