GILA BEND, AZ : Two people dead after rollover on Interstate 8 on Wednesday morning July 16th 2014

Two people are dead after a rollover accident on Interstate 8 near Gila Bend.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say the accident occurred around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday about five miles west of Gila Bend.

The names of the two killed weren't immediately released.

ADOT officials say a detour was established to get drivers around the closure.

Interstate 8 is one of the main highways for Arizona drivers headed to Yuma or San Diego, California.
