A 10-year-old girl died and two people were seriously injured in an early-morning crash Thursday on Interstate 17 near Sunset Point.
The collision occurred at 2:49 a.m. and involved a passenger vehicle that rolled over and was struck by a semitruck, Arizona Department of Public Safety Trooper Kameron Lee said.
Lee confirmed that the 10-year-old girl was inside the vehicle that rolled over.
The male driver of the vehicle and a 14-year-old boy were injured.
The truck driver was uninjured, Lee said.
All southbound lanes opened shortly before 7:30 a.m., the Department of Public Safety tweeted.
