LAS VEGAS, NV : Moped rider killed in early-morning collision with car on Wednesday, January 18th 2017

Police say a man riding a moped was killed in a Las Vegas car crash.

Las Vegas police said witnesses say a Tao Tao moped entered an intersection on a red light and collided with a Toyota Corolla early Wednesday morning.

The moped overturned and threw the 48-year-old man. He died at the scene where East St. Louis Avenue meets South Fremont Street.

The 58-year-old woman driving the Toyota suffered minor injuries.

The moped rider’s name wasn’t immediately released.
