A Simpsonville man was killed when his vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree, said Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans.
Evans said John Brentley Wilson, 45, of Torrey Court in Simpsonville, died at the scene. The crash happened near the intersection of South and Cox Streets in Simpsonville just before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
An autopsy will be performed. The crash is under investigation by the Simpsonville Police Department and the Greenville County Coroner's Office.
