Fabius Township, MI : One injured in crash on Tuesday, 22nd January 2019

One person was injured Tuesday in a three-vehicle crash in Fabius Township.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.

A vehicle driven by an 87-year-old woman from Three Rivers was southbound on U.S. 131 when she attempted to turn left onto West Broadway, but turned in front of a semi-truck that was northbound, causing a collision. The car then rolled into a Jeep that was stopped on Broadway.

The driver of the car was taken to Three Rivers Health for treatment of minor injuries.

The drivers of the semi-truck and Jeep were not injured.
