Austin, TX : A Marshall man was killed in an ATV wreck on Saturday, July 15, 2017

A Marshall man was killed early Saturday in an ATV wreck, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Garfield M. Williams, 40, was traveling south in the ditch of Boards Ferry Road, a few miles south of Marshall, at about 2:20 a.m., according to a DPS news release.

"The driver, attempting to enter the roadway from the ditch, struck a culvert at the end of a private drive," the release said. "The driver lost control of the ATV and was ejected when the vehicle flipped over."
