RUSSELLVILLE, AL : A Russellville man killed in crash on April, Friday 14th 2017

A Russellville resident was killed Friday when his 1995 Chevrolet Caprice left Franklin 48 and overturned, state troopers said.

The crash claimed the life of 47-year-old George Craig, troopers said. Craig was the driver and only victim. Troopers said he was not wearing his safety belt.

Troopers said the crash happened at 8:15 p.m. 8 miles east of Russellville. Craig was pronounced dead at the scene.

State troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
