Garvin County, OK : Two women killed in multicar crash on U.S. Highway 177 near Stratford on Saturday, August 13, 2016

Two women died over the weekend after a multicar crash near Stratford, Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said.

A Chevrolet pickup truck was heading north on U.S. Highway 177 near County Road 1580 shortly after 5:40 p.m. Saturday when it drifted left-of-center, hitting a trailer attached to a Ford pickup truck. The Chevrolet hit a second Ford pickup truck head-on, causing the Ford to roll over and come to a rest on its top, according to an accident report.

A Ford Escape then hit the Chevrolet pickup truck, the report said.

The driver of the overturned truck, identified as Roseanna Owens, 56, of Stratford, was pinned inside the vehicle for an unknown amount of time. She was taken to OU Medical Center, where she later died.

Jodi Hawkins, 19, was ejected an unknown distance from the Chevrolet, the report said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. OHP troopers determined she was not using her seat belt.

A 31-year-old Shawnee woman and two children, ages 2 and 9, were admitted to an Ada hospital in good condition.

OHP authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and the drivers' conditions.
