A driver died in a three-car crash that left his or her car mangled Sunday in Polk County.

The driver, who hasn't been publicly identified by name or gender, died at the scene of the crash on Oregon 22, according to the Oregon State Police. Two others from a different car were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, the agency said.
