SPARTANBURG, SC : 1 charged after 6-vehicle crash at the corner of Southport and Cedar Springs Road on Tuesday, 8th January 2019

Spartanburg police said one person was charged after a six-vehicle crash on Southport Road.
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Southport and Cedar Springs Road.
Spartanburg Police Major Art Littlejohn said the driver of a vehicle hit two vehicles before flipping and then hitting three other vehicles.
Minor injuries were reported.
The driver of the vehicle that crashed into the other vehicles was taken to a hospital for treatment before he was transported to the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
The suspect's name was not immediately available.
