Warren, OH : One person was injured in a head-on crash at State Route 164 on Monday, 22nd August, 2016

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers continue investigating a head-on crash that shut down state Route 164 for nearly four hours Monday.

According to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broacast partner, highway patrol reports said a car driven by 27-year-old Diana Rice of Leetonia went left of center near Beeson Mill Road in Salem Township shortly before noon,

and struck an oncoming truck.

Rice was flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for treatment of injuries described as incapacitating.

The truck driver, Miguel Cortes of Akron, was not seriously injured. The Environmental Protection Agency was notified because 100 gallons of diesel fuel leaked from the truck.
