Annapolis, MD : Man ejected from vehicle, seriously injured in crash near Annapolis Monday night, January 9, 2017
A man was treated for serious injuries after he was ejected from his vehicle in a single-car crash Monday night.
Firefighters from the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to a call of an overturned vehicle in the area of Route 50 and Cape St. Claire Road near Annapolis just after 9:45 p.m., the department wrote in a release.
Upon arriving at the scene, responders found a man estimated to be in his 30s ejected from the vehicle and his pickup truck overturned.
He was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center to be treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries, according to the department. No one else was reported to have been in the truck at the time of the crash.
