Rochester, MN : Motorcyclist injured in Stewartville crash on Saturday, August 6, 2016

A 35-year-old man is recovering after getting thrown from his motorcycle.

The crash happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Motorcyclist Paul M. Baer, of Clinton, Mass. was traveling westbound on Interstate-90 when he drifted into the grassy median. The motorcycle got stuck in a soft spot and came to a stop, throwing Baer off the bike.

Baer was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital — Saint Marys Campus with non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, Stewartville Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the scene.
