Quincy, IL : One person was injured in a slow traffic after a crash at U.S. 61 On Saturday, August 13th, 2016

Slow traffic after a crash on U.S. 61 on Saturday afternoon led to a second crash that injured one driver.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2011 Ford F-150 truck driven by David B. Vaughn, 50, of LaGrange, was traveling south on U.S. 61, one mile south of Route V, north of Taylor, at 1:35 p.m. and slowing down

after a crash when it was struck in the rear by a 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Nancy J. Bulen, 51, of Bucklin.

Bulen, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and the LaGrange Fire, Rescue and Police Department.
