One person is dead after reportedly being struck by a vehicle along Interstate 77 Tuesday morning.
According to North Carolina Department of Transportation, an incident was reported along I-77 southbound near mile marker 4. NCDOT says the ramp is closed.
MEDIC says a pedestrian was struck in the area and died from their injuries.
Officials say the incident happened at 10:33 a.m. and the ramp is expected to be closed until 2 p.m.
