BLOOMINGTON, IL : Wood Street re-opens after accident on April, Thursday 27th 2017

A section of Wood Street near the Miller Park entrance re-opened to motorists shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday after a sport utility vehicle knocked down a power pole and flipped over in a crash earlier that morning.

For safety reasons, Wood Street was closed about 10 a.m., and all traffic was rerouted, said the Bloomington Police Department. The street was open again about 1:20 p.m.

Power has been restored to homes in the affected area.

Further details, including whether anyone was injured, were not released Thursday.
