Crosby, MN : Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at Highway 6 On Wednesday, August 17th, 2016

Two people suffered injury in a three-vehicle crash north of Crosby Wednesday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 6 near the intersection with Beaver Drive.

A 2010 Ford pickup truck driven by Susan M. Moe, 59, of Crosby, was struck from behind while preparing to turn left onto Beaver Drive by a 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by Cortez A. Lewis, 29 of Crosby. The pickup truck was

pushed into the southbound lanes and was struck by a 2015 Ford Fusion, driven by Carrie A. Maroney, 43, of Crosby.

Moe and Maroney suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Lewis suffered no apparent injury. All three drivers were reportedly wearing seat belts at

the time of the crash.

The Crosby Police Department and the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
