Submitted photo courtesy of David Clark A tractor-trailer owned by Sterling Transport Co. of Lexington, South Carolina, rests on its side about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 219, south of Huttonsville. Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy B.T. Sharp said the truck was hauling 10,000 gallons of propane. ‘It is believed that the weather conditions were a contributing circumstance,’ Sharp said. ‘The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.’ He also said the driver — the lone individual in the truck — had non-life-threatening injuries. No citations have been issued. Sgt. B.A. Talkington, also of the RCSO, is still investigating the incident. In addition to the RCSO, Huttonsville/Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Tygart Valley Fire Company, Valley Head Volunteer Fire Department, West Virginia Department of Highways and Randolph County EMS assisted on scene.
