Jamestown, N.D : Two injured in Grand Forks crash on Monday, April 3, 2017

Two women were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:45 a.m. Monday 4 miles west of Grand Forks, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The patrol said Alexis Buck, 19, Grafton, N.D., was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox SUV east on 17th Avenue Northeast, approaching the intersection with 17th Street Northeast.


Ladonna Mortenson, 49, Gilby, N.D., was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck south on 17th Street Northeast, approaching the intersection with 17th Avenue Northeast.

The patrol said 17th Street Northeast has a yield sign, and the pickup truck entered the intersection with the SUV striking the pickup truck.

Buck and Mortenson wore seat belts. Buck was transported by Altru Ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Mortenson was checked by medical personnel at the scene.
