Troopers said the ramp onto Highway 9 from I-85 North will be closed for several hours Friday morning as crews work to clear wreckage from an early morning crash.
The Boiling Springs Fire Department said the ramp from Highway 9 onto the interstate was also closed and traffic wanting to head north on I-85 should take Business I-85 North.
The wreck happened around 1:45 a.m. and involved two tractor trailers.
Troopers said one truck was parked on the ramp and was struck in the rear by the second tractor trailer. The second tractor trailer then ran down an embankment and into the ravine on the side of the interstate.
The ramp will be closed while crews work to remove the wrecked tractor trailer from the ravine.
Injuries were reported in the crash.
