CLE ELUM, WA : Ellensburg man killed in single-car crash east of Cle Elum on Wednesday, October, 25th 2017

An 18-year-old Ellensburg man died and two others were injured when the car they were traveling in crashed Wednesday afternoon on State Route 10.

Washington State Patrol said Joshua R. Knight, 19, of Ellensburg was driving a 2001 Ford Mustang just after 5 p.m. about 10 miles east of Cle Elum when he fell asleep, missed a curve and struck a guardrail, causing the car to roll over. A passenger, Juan Magana-Castaneda, died at the scene. Knight and a second passenger, Juan C. Gonzalez, 18, of Yakima refused aid for minor injuries, the State Patrol said.
