SKIDMORE, MO : Maitland man seriously injured in crash on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020

An early morning crash on a snow-covered highway sent the driver to the hospital with serious injuriesAccording to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ricky L. Goodman, 28, of Maitland, was taken to Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville after he lost control of his 1998 Honda CRV while northbound on State Highway 113 two miles north of Skidmore just after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.The highway patrol report indicated that Goodman lost control on the snow, traveled off the right side of the roadway, then overcorrected, nearly overturning his vehicle, and the vehicle came to rest on its wheels off the right side of the highway.

Goodman’s vehicle was totaled. He was listed as wearing a safety device.
