Isabella County, MI : Farwell man dies after crash in Isabella County on Thursday Morning, November 6, 2014

The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday Morning. The accident occurred On East Beal City Road at North Isabella Road. 64 year old Matthew Kampf of Mt. Pleasant was driving westbound on Beal City Road when police say a northbound vehicle driven by 52 year old Pamela Scott of Farwell ran a stop sign and struck his Jeep. Kampf’s Jeep skidded and ended up rolling over in a field. Both Scott and her Husband, 55 year old Philip Scott, had to be extricated from their car. They were transported to McLaren-Central Michigan by ambulance and then transferred to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Philip Scott passed away later in the day. Kampf received minor injuries and did not seek medical treatment. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash. Neither Pamela nor Philip Scott were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. Source : One dead in Isabella fatal, car strikes pedestrian
