Canton, OH : 23-year-old man man dies from injuries suffered in motorcycle crash on Interstate 77 Sunday night, August 7, 2016

A 23-year-old man died from injuries suffered when he crashed his motorcycle on Interstate 77 Sunday night near the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Bryan J. Geiselman was driving a 2006 Suzuki south on I-77 near the 13th Street exit when he lost control and traveled off the left side of the road before striking a barrier wall, according to a news release from the Ohio Highway Patrol's Canton post. Geiselman was driving at a high speed when the crash occurred about 8:35 p.m., the release said.

He was wearing a helmet. Geiselman was taken to Mercy Medical Center following the crash by Canton Fire Department medics. He later died at the hospital from injuries suffered in the crash.

The Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
