WICHITA, KS : Car crashes into building in north Wichita on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024

A driver avoided serious injury Wednesday morning after crashing into a building in north Wichita.

The crash happened just before noon near 21st and Topeka.

One driver said he was switching lanes and didn’t notice the car next to them. In an attempt to avoid crashing with the vehicle, the other driver hopped the curb but ended up running into the building.

Police said the building was vacant, and the driver only suffered minor injuries.
