Council Bluffs, IA : 61-year-old Rodney Smith killed in rollover crash on Friday afternoon, January 6, 2017

A Council Bluffs man is dead after his car rolled into a ditch Friday afternoon.

According to a release from the Iowa State Patrol, 61-year-old Rodney Smith was killed in the crash.

The State Patrol said Smith was traveling eastbound on I-680 when his car crossed the median, went into oncoming traffic and landed in a ditch.
