Parsippany, N.J : Teen killed in Warren County crash on Tuesday morning, January 3, 2017

An 18-year-old woman was killed in a one-car crash Tuesday morning in Oxford, according to a township police report.

Keely Blaney, of Oxford, was declared dead at the scene of the accident on Pequest Road (County Route 625), near Pequest Furnace Road.

Lt. John Kaufmann of the Oxford Police Department said Blaney lost control of her 2001 Pontiac Grand Am about 11:22 a.m., swerved off the roadway to the right, and struck a tree. Photos from the scene show the driver's-side door took the front of the impact.

Washington Township (Warren County) Police were joined at the scene by the Oxford Fire Department, Oxford Road Department and Oxford Emergency Squad; the Washington Township Emergency Squad; Warren County Hazmat and Road Department; Hunterdon Medical Center Paramedics, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office and the New Jersey State Police.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident, Kaufman said. No citations have been issued.
