Knoxville, TN : One man dead fatal crash John Sevier Highway on Friday January 15 2016.

One man is dead following a fatal crash Friday afternoon at the ramp from Chapman Highway to John Sevier Highway.
Witnesses reported that a 2002 Toyota Camry failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection on the ramp from Chapman Highway to John Sevier Highway. A 2004 Honda Minivan traveling on John Sevier Highway was unable to stop in time and struck the driver's side of the Toyota Camry.
The driver of the Toyota Camry was transported to UT Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. KPD says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the Honda Minivan was also taken to UT Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries
