Charlotte,NC : No serious injuries in crash involving CMPD vehicle on August, Tuesday 22nd 2017

No one was seriously injured in a wreck involving a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police vehicle near uptown early Tuesday morning.
It happened around 4:28 a.m. on N Tryon Street at Dalton Avenue.
Police say the officer was not on a call and was not running his emergency equipment when the wreck happened. The two people in the other vehicle involved went to the hospital with minor injuries.
The officer was not hurt.
Details surrounding what caused the crash were not released.
