Morgantown,WV : Person killed in an accident on Interstate 68 on June, Monday 26th 2017

The name of the person killed in an accident on Interstate 68 the evening of June 23 had not been released by police as of Monday. According to a press release from Maryland State Police, troopers went to an accident at 6:40 p.m. on I-68 westbound, near the state line.
Troopers determined that a Toyota Highlander was traveling east when its driver lost control due to wet road conditions and spun across the center median and onto westbound lanes of I-68.
The Highlander was then struck in a head-on collision with a 2013 GMC Sierra 2500 pickup, operated by Wallace Bulford of Terra Alta. Bulford and two other passengers in the Sierra were transported to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the Highlander was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
