WATERLOO, IA : One person was injured in a collision on Thursday, December, 21st 2017

One person was injured in a collision between a semi truck and a passenger car on Sergeant Road on Thursday morning.

The identity and condition of the person weren’t immediately available. Paramedics with Waterloo Fire Rescue transported the person to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The crash happened on Sergeant Road/Highway 63 just north of the West Shaulis Road intersection. The crash closed the road to traffic between Shaulis and Ranchero Road while Waterloo police worked the scene.
