Adair County, IA : 2 minors killed in crash on 260th Street in Adair County, east of Winding Avenue on Friday, 21st February, 2020

Two minors were killed in a central Iowa crash Friday.

The Iowa State Patrol said two male juveniles, who have not been identified, were killed when a 2017 Dodge Durango collided head-on with the 1999 Ford Escort the boys were in about 3:30 p.m. Friday on 260th Street in Adair County, east of Winding Avenue.

A woman and a minor passenger were inside of the Durango at the time of the crash. The minor suffered serious injuries and has been flown to a hospital, according to Sgt. Alex Dinkla, a spokesman with the state patrol. The woman has also been hospitalized.

The collision remains under investigation.
