Greenville, SC : Simpsonville man dies in crash on Thursday, 25th August, 2016

A 35-year-old SImpsonville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday night, the Greenville County Coroner's Office said.
Douglas Scott Cornett was heading down Long Shoals Road in Piedmont at 11:40 p.m. when his vehicle crossed the center line, left the roadway and overturned, the Coroner's Office said.
Cornett, who was driving a 2009 Mazda, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said he was wearing a seat belt.
He died of blunt force trauma.
