Fort myers, FL : Driver's ID released following two-car crash early Sunday July 20 2014.

Fort Myers Police just released the name of the driver as 19-year-old Brandon Wadinger who was found to be at fault for the crash early Sunday morning.Traffic was tied up for hours while the city's traffic homicide detective investigated. Fort Myers Police shut down traffic for about five hours at the intersection of Summerlin Road and Cedarbend Drive. One car flipped on its roof. Neighbors believe speed is the culprit for most of the accidents in this intersection."She just heard the big loud crash, you know it was very loud," Edwina Laymon said who lives neat the intersection of Summerlin Road and Cedarbend Drive.

She says her neighbor woke up to the sound of a deadly Sunday morning crash."It's very heart-rending to know that somebody lost their life," Laymon said.Laymon says this intersection can be dangerous."I drive at least 40 or 45 and they pass me quite a bit," Laymon said.
The speed limit at Sunday morning's crash sight is 35 miles per hour. Nearby residents also say curves around the intersection can be an issue."When you're coming out of the curve you probably don't see the stop light until you're pretty close to it," Fort Myers resident Guillermo Gascue said.
